The design process is a detailed process that encompasses research, art direction, color coding, and the actual design itself. Our full time creative staff creates unique new copyrighted designs, always taking into account current color and design trends.

In addition to our own designs we offer successful traditional designs. These traditional designs offer a glimpse into history and have stood the test of time from a consumer perspective. Any quality catalog wouldn't be complete with these historical designs.

And lastly, we work with companies to implement their own unique designs. Many companies come to us with their own designs or copyrighted designs that we glady develop and manufacture for them. The modeling process takes design from one medium to the another, and is a crucial step in the textile creation process. The process itself is a combination of mapping out color and patterns in a way that allows the end product to be processed enmass.

We take great care in developing our process so that we can ensure that the design that is initially created or supplied is the design that is transferred to the end product. Our most experienced designers and engineers execute this process with a structural foundation and an eye for detail.

Our modeling is the best in the business and appears transparent to our customers, which is as it should be. After all, a smooth process is a transparent and seamless process.

The weaving process is a detailed and difficult process that takes time and expertise to come to fruition.

Our weavers take the end of a strand of spun wool, tie it across a pair of warp threads, and cut free the end of the strand that is still attached. Tying and cutting the wool is done with such swift motion and the hands of the weavers are so skilled that their fingers are difficult to follow by the naked eye. After each row of knots has been completed, one or more threads are woven. To secure them firmly in place, the threads/knots are beaten down. Excess knotted yarn is trimmed after each row of knots, in some instances after the carpet has been completed.  The weaver repeats this operation hundreds of times until the textile is completed.
